Proposal Guidelines
A preliminary e-mail describing your project or program is required before proposals are accepted. The initial inquiry must be made at least 3 weeks before proposals are due. Following screening, qualified applicants are requested to submit 4 copies of the proposal for consideration of the Board of Directors. Proposal deadline is February 1st and must be recieved by February 1st to be considered. Hand delivered proposals are NOT accepted.

Proposals should include as applicable:

-Name, email and phone number of the contact person       
-Organization’s current mailing address 
-Amount Requested  
-Applicant’s qualifications
-Synopsis of the project
-Goals of the project 
-Beginning and completion dates
-# of students enrolled or expected audience
-% of students eligible for free/reduced lunches (if applicable)
-Student test scores for the last 3 years (if applicable)
-Population and geographic area served 
-Attendance Rates (if applicable)
-Graduation Rate (if applicable)           
-Total itemized budget for project                          
-List of sources and amounts of other funding obtained, pledged or requested for this project                                
-Financial information for two years with audited financial statements  (1 copy only)
-Plan for Evaluation

Of Many Colors Scholarship Guidelines
To apply for the financial aid grant program for the "Of Many Colors" exhibit please submit on school letterhead the following information:

Your school's name
Your school's tax ID
Number of children enrolled
Percentage of children eligible for free lunches
Age range of children enrolled
Curriculum and Viewing Plan if any
Cost of bringing the exhibit to your school
Amount of money your school can contribute
Amount of money you are requesting
Proposed dates of exhibit

In addition, please include proof of nonprofit status and a statement indicating your Principal's support. Priority is given to schools serving a majority of low-income children and requests including a curriculum and viewing plan. Requests for more in depth projects including "Of Many Colors" are encouraged and should follow the more extensive Proposal Guidelines above. Proposal deadline is February 1st.
